Fun fact: Nothing grabs the Melbourne Lyf team’s attention more than whiskey. And when news dropped that Ocean 12 – a new bar in the CBD – has “one of Melbourne’s largest collections of whiskey”, well, we got pretty excited.

Ok, a lot excited.

  • Ocean 12
  • Opens August 8
  • Crown Casino, Level 3

Ocean 12 is the newest edition to Crown and they’ve certainly come to play.

The bar which is located at the former Studio 3, features 60 Cuban cigar varieties and more than 400 types of whiskey. Yes, 400!

“We believe we have fused the best of the city’s nightlife into one exceptional venue.

“Spirited yet sophisticated, we have ensured the experience is built around each guest, with the hope that Melburnians and visitors will have unforgettable evenings time and time again.”

The cigar lounge boasts uninterrupted views of Melbourne’s skyline, with a selection of Cuban’s including Hoyo de Monterrey Petit Robusto, Cohiba Siglo IV, Montecristo Montecristo No. 2 and H. Upmann Magnum 54… you know, if you’re into that sort of thing.

We’ll stick to the whiskey, thanks.
